Dr. M. Prasanna

Prof Prasanna Mohan currently working as Associate Professor in Department of Physiotherapy, Garden City University, Possess over 18 years of experience in the field of Physiotherapy with various capacities includes Teaching, administration and clinical practice. He Passed out BPT in 1998 and MPT 2005 at The T.N. Dr. M.G.R.Medical University, Chennai. As an enthusiastic learner he completed MBA Degree in HR & Marketing at Bharathidasan University with First Class in the year 2010 currently pursuing PhD program in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at GCU. Prof. Prasanna Mohan started his career as lecturer and clinical therapist at Maurya college of Physiotherapy, Bangalore from 1999 till 2002, before joining at Burdwan university as lecturer and In charge HOD in the year of 2004 he completed MPT program specialized in Neuro Pediatrics, later He joined Garden city college of Physiotherapy in the year 2006 as Assistant Professor and he become Vice Principal in the year 2011.He is also PG Guide Under RGUHS since 2009 and guided numerous research projects. He offers versatility of department management/leadership, along with speaking experience, familiar in documentation and report generation. Strong team builder and facilitator, foster an atmosphere that encourages talented professionals to apply skill sets to achieve maximum productivity. His passion for social service made him to join NSS, RGUGS later he was appointed as Program officer for NSS Unit under RGUHS by 2009 since then he organized lot of regular and special camps along with his team. During his tenure Prof. Prasanna Mohan attended several conference and workshops, chaired numerous scientific sessions and honored by number of institutions. Apart from teaching various physiotherapy subjects he extensively practicing physiotherapy in Bangalore currently rendering physiotherapy service to three hospitals under his own company called Rehab One Healthcare, Bangalore.
